When it comes to arranging a second date, there are a handful of things that you can do. If you and your date both had a good time on the first date then you will most definitely want to go on a second one. However, the way that you go about arranging it can end up making it not as appealing as the first date was. This is why you will need to be careful in how you do it.
On the Date
Towards the end of the date you can tell them that you had a really great time and would love to see them again. Make sure that you do this right at the end so that there is no awkwardness after you have made the plans. This should be one of the last things that you say to each other. Just make sure that you give yourself time so that you and your date are not so rushed where you can’t make definite plans. Leave it open to them so that they do not feel so pressured. If they seem interested in seeing you again, then you can go from there in making plans.
Calling
Once the date has ended, allow the rest of the day or night to pass and then call them the following day. This can be a great follow up call to see how they are and if they had a good time. Ask them if they would like to go out again and try to make plans with them then.
