Honesty

Whenever you want to ask a person for their number or give them your number you need to try to be honest. Tell them that you like them and would like to go out on a date with them. Ask them if you can give them your number just so you can at least talk to them more. They will be able to appreciate you putting yourself out there and telling them how you feel.

Break the Ice

Break the ice with them, try to get to know them and joke with them a little before you come right out and ask for their number. It will help them to feel more comfortable whenever you are looking to give them your number.

Flirt

It is a good idea to try to at least flirt with this person a little before you ask. It will help them to be able to expect what is in store a little more than if you act uninterested before asking. Flirting with them beforehand will also let you know if they will actually want your number.

On the Date

Towards the end of the date you can tell them that you had a really great time and would love to see them again. Make sure that you do this right at the end so that there is no awkwardness after you have made the plans. This should be one of the last things that you say to each other. Just make sure that you give yourself time so that you and your date are not so rushed where you can’t make definite plans. Leave it open to them so that they do not feel so pressured. Calling

Once the date has ended, allow the rest of the day or night to pass and then call them the following day. This can be a great follow up call to see how they are and if they had a good time. Ask them if they would like to go out again and try to make plans with them then.

Whenever you go out with a woman, pay the check, whether you are going to dinner, a movie or out for drinks. She may offer to pay but you need to be the one that pays the bill when it is all said and done. You will find that a woman that gets her food, entertainment and drinks paid for will be a lot more likely to appreciate you.

Doors

Simple, small things like holding the door open for her and opening her car door for her will really show that you are a gentlemen. It will also help her to feel a lot more at ease whenever she is around you. A woman that has a door held open for her will know that she is with a gentleman that will take care of her while she is out with him.

Compliments

When it comes to complimenting a lady you will find that you need to make sure that you know how to go about it. Don’t go overboard on the compliments and also try to be specific with your compliments.

Flowers

If you are a man going out on a date with a woman you can’t go wrong with flowers. You will find that even if a woman does not like flowers she will appreciate the gesture that you took to get them for her. Flowers are beautiful and can brighten up a room. Most women will love to have flowers brought to her before going out on a date.

Wine/Champagne

Whether you are a man or a woman, bringing wine or champagne to your date’s door can be a great way for you to show them your taste in drinks. You will find that this is a really excellent gift to bring if you and your date will be spending the evening in together. If you are, then make sure that you know what you will be having for dinner so that you can get a wine that will match.

Chocolates/Candies

Candies and chocolates are great for anybody. If you happen to know what your date’s favorite candy is, then this can really be a sweet surprise. Show them that you listened to them and that you know them well by bringing them their favorite candy.

Nerves

It can be easy for your nerves to get the best of you whenever you are giving somebody your number for a date. Just make sure that you are as calm and cool about it as possible as this is something that can help to put you and your potential date at ease.

Funny

You will find that slipping some humor in can be a great way for you to be able to help get the number exchange to go a lot smoother. Make a joke about how awkward it is or how you can’t wait to call them and hear what they sound like on the phone or even something risky such as how was your last dogging trip. Throwing a joke in even something sexually related can help make things easier.

Plans

The most important thing to do is to make plans on when you will call them and arrange a date. Try not to make it where you will be calling them right away as this will make you seem too eager. Conversations

There are a lot of dos and don’ts when it comes to conversations on a first date. You will need to make sure that you know not to talk about past relationships or what your last lover was like because this will only make your date uncomfortable. Dress Code

The dress code on a first date is something that you will really need to understand. If you are a woman, make sure that you dress sexy without seeming slutty. If you dress slutty expect to be treated slutty. A guy will expect to have sex with you if you are dressed like you are ready for it. Guys need to dress nicely without making it look like they are trying too hard.
